Meet Our Teachers

  • Principal Haynes

This year is my 17th year in education, 7th year at SCS and 4th year as the principal. I consider it an honor and privilege to serve God daily.

My husband, Jeremy, and I have been blessed with four amazing kids. Jori is in the 11th grade and attended SCS for 5 years. Jaxton is in his 8th grade year here at SCS. Judson and Janey are 3 and will be here next year!

My goal is to lead SCS as a servant leader much like Jesus!

  • Mrs. Sarah- PE

My name is Sarah Messick and this is my sixth year to teach P.E. at Snyder Christian School.

When I am not at SCS, I’m teaching dance classes at my dance studio, Studio92. After graduating from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, I moved back home not really knowing what I was going to do, career wise. But God was working! He opened doors for me that I didn’t even know were there.

My goal is to teach our students that our bodies are made in His image, we should take great care of them, and how to be strong in all ways.

  • Mrs. Voyles

Hey everyone I am Mrs V! This will be my 5th year teaching Pre-K at SCS. I am so very excited to get this school year started!!

When I’m not at school I love being with my husband and two children. Last year God blessed us with twins, and they have filled our lives with so much joy. We like to do a lot of outdoor activities like fishing, kayaking, and hiking. I love listening to all kinds of music on my record player. I mostly love 60’s 70’s and 80’s music! For vacations I love going to the beach or the mountains. My husband and I also really enjoy playing badminton or tennis. My husband works at Calvary Baptist church as the Young Adult Pastor.

Most of all we enjoy serving God together and reaching young people in our community who don’t have a home church or a relationship with God.

  • Mrs. Smith

I have taught here off and on for the last 10 years and am thrilled to be here at SCS!

My husband Josh is the pastor at Central Baptist Church, Hermleigh, and we have two kids Myka and Caleb.

My passion is kids and I love seeing them grow both spiritually and academically.

My husband Steve and I have lived in Snyder for most of our lives. We have two grown children. Kristin is married to Chance Young and lives in Midland. Luke lives in Snyder and works for Kinder Morgan.

  • Mrs. Pruitt

I was raised in Perryton, Texas. I attended West Texas A&M University in Canyon, TX and received a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Education. I met my husband David Pruitt at WTAMU and was married in 2014. My husband is the Youth and Worship Pastor at Grace Fellowship Church and we have one child named Noah.

I am excited to see what God does this year at SCS. I know it’s going to be great!

  • Mrs. Kopper
