Meet Our Teachers

  • Principal Haynes

This year marks Mrs. Haynes’s 17th year in education, her 7th year at Snyder Christian School, and her 4th year serving as principal. She considers it a true honor and privilege to serve God daily through her work at SCS.

She and her husband, Jeremy, have been blessed with four amazing children. Their daughter Jori is in 11th grade and attended SCS for five years. Their son Jaxton is currently in 8th grade at SCS, and their youngest two, Judson and Janey, are three years old and will be joining the school next year.

As principal, her heart is to lead Snyder Christian School with a servant’s heart—modeling leadership after the example of Jesus.

  • Mrs. Voyles

    Pre-Kindergarten Teacher

Mrs. Voyles has a deep passion for teaching children about Jesus and feels truly honored to be part of Snyder Christian School and its mission. She is grateful to serve in a community where faith and education come together so meaningfully.

She and her husband, Cody Voyles, have lived in Snyder since 2018. Cody serves as the Next Generation Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church, and together they have been involved in ministry since 2015.

The Voyles family is blessed with two wonderful children, Valley and Porter. As a family, their mission is to love others well and help people understand the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus.

  • Mrs. Krueger

    Kindergarten Teacher

What a joy it is for Mrs. Krueger to be part of Snyder Christian School! She is continually grateful for the love and support she experiences each day from the school community.

Equipping children with the tools they need to succeed—both academically and spiritually—has always been her passion. She finds great purpose in helping her young students grow in knowledge and in their relationship with Christ.

Mrs. Krueger and her husband, Steve, have lived in Snyder for over 30 years. They are proud parents of two grown children: Kristin, who is married to Chance Young, and Luke, who works for Kinder Morgan. She feels truly blessed to have both of her children living nearby in Snyder.

  • Mrs. James

    2nd & 3rd Grade Teacher

Teaching children for over 30 years has been both an honor and a blessing for Mrs. James. She is deeply grateful that God has allowed her to pursue a lifelong career in education and continues to find joy and purpose in the classroom.

In addition to being a teacher, she is a devoted wife, mother, and Mimi. She and her husband, Lucky, have two children—Jennifer Haynes and Zach James—and are blessed with six wonderful grandchildren.

Mrs. James is excited to see all that God has in store for Snyder Christian School this year and is confident it’s going to be a great one!

  • Mrs. Kopper

    Junior High Teacher

Mrs. Kopper is proud to serve as the Junior High teacher at Snyder Christian School. A longtime Snyder resident, she has spent most of her life in the community, with a few short seasons in Lubbock.

She is married to her wonderful husband, Dr. Brandon Kopper, and together they share their home with two beloved pets—Leon the cat and Tippi the maltipoo. Mrs. Kopper holds an Associate of Arts degree from Western Texas College (2012), a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Agriculture with a focus in Agricultural Leadership from Texas Tech University (2013), and a Master’s degree in Agricultural Education, also from Texas Tech (2015).

She feels truly blessed to be a teacher at Snyder Christian School and considers it a joy to pour into the lives of her students every day.

Her favorite scripture, Matthew 19:14, reflects her heart for teaching: “But Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.’”
